I’ve wanted a fireplace for as long as I can remember. Not only is it such a gorgeous focal point of any home. But it’s also the perfect excuse to switch up your decor each season!
I’ve got a little fall decorating envy going on right now. We’re smack in the middle of renovations in our house, and between working on my daughter’s new little girl bedroom and installing new floors, I haven’t had the time or energy to decorate our own mantel for fall yet.
But that doesn’t mean I can’t get started with ideas for some beautiful fall mantels from some of my very talented blogger friends. So here’s a little inspiration for you with some gorgeous fall decorating ideas for mantels.

I love the idea of adding garland to a fireplace for more than just Christmas. There are endless ideas to add a different seasonal or holiday touch to this tradition.
I love how creative Michelle from Thistle Key Lane got with her fall mantel garland. She kept her fireplace simple and neutral but made a statement by stringing up real mini dried gourds to add an earthy fall touch.
Michelle from Our Crafty Mom also jumped on the fall mantel garland bandwagon with her rustic eclectic fireplace look. Her cotton stem garland is a simple way to add in a farmhouse feel to any fall mantel styling.

It can be a real struggle to figure out how to decorate around your fireplace when you have a TV as the focal point. I love how Carrie from Lovely Etc. added in some simple fall mantel ideas just by using earthy autumn colors in her candlesticks and floral accessories.

Keeping it simple and neutral she went with an all white theme by adding in various sizes of white pumpkins and found books.
Cindy from DIY Beautify did an amazing job adding in all the rustic fall touches to her fireplace. I love how she kept her fall mantel decor simple by using a statement sign and surrounding it with dried florals and pumpkins.
Can we just talk about this rustic faux fireplace mantel from Angie at Postcards on the Ridge?! What a creative way to add a touch of fall to an outdoor patio!
She did such a great job adding in subtle touches of fall to her mantel using recycled wine bottles, different wooden accessories, and of course pumpkins and mums.
I love how Jamie from Anderson + Grant added some rustic fall mantel ideas to her traditional wood fireplace. Keeping it neutral she anchored her mantel decor with a gorgeous wooden cathedral arch and tall lantern.
But the grapevine and neutral pumpkins added the perfect touch to her rustic wooden dough bowl.

I’ve always been a big fan of Jennifer’s style from Jennifer Maune. But this has to be one of my favorite fall mantel ideas she’s come up with. Her copper and blue velvet pumpkins add the perfect elegant touch to her fall decor.
Pairing these glam accessories with some dried wheat spray balanced out the mantel with some natural autumn elements.

My friend Jaclyn from One-Thousand Oaks never ceases to amaze me with her fall decor and this moody mantel is no exception. She piled together a simple arrangement of neutral pumpkins and dried florals and stems to create the perfect contrast against her dark paneled wall.
